Family Bank is a family-focused money tracking app. This policy explains what data we
collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We only collect information needed to provide the app.
- Account information: email address and Firebase user ID.
- Family information: family name (optional), child names, and profile colors.

Financial data: account balances, transactions (amounts, type, date), and
optional transaction notes.

Settings: currency symbol, interest rates, bonus settings, and last
interest month.
How we use your information
- Provide core app features like accounts, transactions, interest, and statements.
- Sync your data across devices where you sign in.
- Generate monthly statements and PDFs locally on your device.
How data is collected
- Directly from you when you create accounts, add children, and enter transactions.
- Generated by the app when interest is calculated or statements are created.
Data storage and security
- Data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Firebase).
- Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest by Firebase.
- Access is restricted to your account via Firebase Authentication.
Third-party services
- Firebase Authentication for account login.
- Cloud Firestore for data storage.
- No analytics or advertising SDKs are used.

The app can generate PDFs locally on your device and you may share them using your
device's share tools.
Data sharing
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We only share data with service providers needed to run the app (Firebase).
- We may disclose data if required by law.
Your choices and rights
- View and edit data inside the app at any time.
- Delete transactions and child profiles inside the app.

Request account deletion by emailing
support@usefamilybank.com. We will delete the account and associated data.
Children's privacy
Family Bank is designed for parents and guardians to manage family data. Any child data is
entered and controlled by the parent or guardian. We do not allow children to create their
own accounts.
International data transfers
Data is stored on Google Cloud Firestore and may be processed in different countries.
Google applies appropriate safeguards to protect data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes on this page and may notify
you in the app or by email for significant updates.
